Information sign for Naturerbewald Blankenburg
 

Information signs at the entrance on the national heritage forest "Naturerbewald Blankenburg" welcome visitors and invite them to have a closer look. There is three parts: a map, a big illustration depicting animals to find and information on how to behave in the forest.

The forest is an important habitat and part of the regional environmental foundation SUNK.

In the design, I combine the foundation’s clear corporate identity with the lively illustration style I developed. The realistic yet painterly depiction of flora and fauna inspires a desire to explore the forest and rediscover the featured animals on one’s own (while staying on the marked paths).
