Information sign for "Börnicke"
 

A new habitat for the red-bellied toad and friends!

The FFH area “Börnicke” has created a biotope teeming with life and a refuge for particularly endangered amphibians such as the crested newt and the fire-bellied toad.

The illustrations on the sign at the edge of the area inform interested parties about the structure, the measures being taken, and the potential biodiversity. Residents and passersby can thus transparently understand the processes and opportunities that are realized through the foundation's work for species and nature conservation in Börnicke.

For public relations purposes, I created individual illustrations that clearly demonstrate the biodiversity in small biotopes such as dung heaps or piles of field stones.

My design focus was on depicting the unique vibrancy of the habitat. Because one thing is clear: there's a lot going on in the unassuming area of Börnicke!
